The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) is the state’s marketing arm and lead advocate for business development, job awareness and community development with the focus on growing Michigan’s economy.  Michigan’s Office of Future Mobility and Electrification, created in 2020, works across state government, academia, and private industry to enhance Michigan’s mobility ecosystem, including dynamic mobility and electrification policies, and supporting the startup and scale up of emerging technologies and businesses.  The Office’s partners with the MEDC, Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, Department of Transportation, Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy and the Governor’s Office to create a stronger state economy through safer, more equitable and environmentally conscious transportation for all Michigan residents.
