As NAIAS prepares to showcase the latest in automotive product and technology innovations, it also is doubling down on technology itself to provide a streamlined, digital approach to registration and a way to help you navigate the show.

NAIAS has selected two new event technology partners – RainFocus and Eventbase – to simplify and improve the registration process and provide all attendees with a personalized, digital guide to everything the show has to offer. It’s all part of the show’s goal to provide a seamless digital experience from beginning to end.

RainFocus will introduce a modernized online registration system and onsite self check-in and badge printing to manage the credential process for media and corporate attendees. There will no longer be a wait to receive credentials in the mail. Instead, attendees will receive an email confirmation with a code to bring to the show.

Founded in 2014, Lehi, Utah-based RainFocus built its own event marketing platform with the goal of managing complex, large-scale events that improves the attendee experience and event success without expensive maintenance and development costs for the conference host.

As the show gets closer, Eventbase will be powering the official 2020 NAIAS mobile application.

Founded in 2009 in Vancouver, Canada, Eventbase was selected based on their successful creation of innovative mobile apps for many of the largest events in the world, including SXSW, CES, Comic-Con, Sundance Film Festival and three Olympic Games.

The Eventbase mobile app for 2020 NAIAS will include a schedule of events, maps, and other information important to navigating all 2 million square feet of the show. The app will allow attendees to plan their time in advance and more easily adjust their plans on the fly.

Media and corporate registration will begin in early 2020, with the mobile application launching in the spring. Follow us on FacebookTwitter and Instagram for real-time updates on both registration and the mobile application.
