June 9, 2020 – Subaru revealed its all-new Crosstrek Sport today – on what would have been the first press day of the 2020 North American International Auto Show.
According to Subaru, the Crosstrek has always been the right-sized compact SUV that lets you do more: go more places, bring more friends, haul more gear. For 2021, it’s even more powerful and exciting to drive, with 20% more available horsepower and 21% more torque, all while reaching up to 34 MPG! Subaru’s Crosstrek has always exuded a sense of adventure. The 2021 Crosstrek will include a sport version of the compact SUV that is even more exciting and capable, with an engine upgrade that delivers more horsepower, style, and safety while remaining fuel efficient. The all-new Crosstrek Sport features standard 2.5-liter direct-injection SUBARU BOXER engine, standard StarTex® water-repellent upholstery, and rugged, aggressive styling inside and out. The Crosstrek Sport would have been one of many exciting reveals at the 2020 NAIAS. We are now looking forward to an even bigger show in 2021.
