The Mobility Global Forum will be held concurrently with Media and Technology Days at the 2023 Detroit Auto Show. This executive two-day symposium will address the changing world of mobility and transportation and feature perspectives from 30+ thought leaders in mobility, design and technology, including New York Times best-selling author Malcolm Gladwell.

Malcolm Gladwell, top global thinker and author of six New York Times bestsellers, will be the featured speaker at the Detroit Auto Show’s new Mobility Global Forum on Thursday, Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. on the main show floor stage in Huntington Place. Gladwell is the author of six New York Times bestsellers, has been named one of the 100 most influential people by TIME magazine, and one of the Foreign Policy’s Top Global Thinkers.

Where is the venue located?
The location of the venue is Huntington Place convention center, 1 Washington Blvd, Detroit, MI 48226.
How much time is allocated for the presentation?
Your session can be up to 45 minutes in length including a Q & A within that time frame. The format can be a keynote, fireside chat, or panel. All presentation organizers are responsible for booking their own panelists and moderators.
What days will the sessions be on?
The sessions will be held on September 13 – 14, on the hour from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Where will the presentations be held?
There are two stages, the Keynote stage is located next to the EV track towards the back of the hall and AutoMobili-D stage is located within AutoMobili-D in the technology area. They are both on the main show floor. There will be no speeches in the atrium at this time.
What is the expected attendance for these sessions?
100 – 300 at either stage. The AutoMobili-D stage has about 50 chairs with room for 75 – 100 standing. The Keynote stage will have at least 200 seats with room for 100+ standing. We expect maximum attendance based on the speakers/topics.
Can you share who will be speaking?
We are unable to release the names at this time. No applicants have been selected yet. They will be selected after the deadline of August 1 by Show Management. Speakers must fill out an application to be considered online at https://naias.com/mobility-global-forum
How will my speaker and associates be able to get on the show floor?
Each presenter will receive four credentials. The Fulkerson Group will request these credentials for you, and you will pick them up at the credential office at Huntington Place. You will need to provide the names, titles, and company name for the four credentials. Additional tickets can be ordered via Lauren Arnold, lauren@fulkersongroup.com at a cost of $75 each per day.

If your speaker application is accepted you will be informed by Katie via email and introduced to Paul Kokesh, paul.kokesh@premierav.net, at Premier AV Event Technology (248-506-5076). Premier AV will be responsible for your onsite logistics.
When will our session be scheduled?
It will depend upon the topic and purpose. The specific date/time will be determined in mid-August based on the applications submitted and we will provide that information to you.
What additional information do you need from the speakers?
We will need headshots and bios from the speakers or panelists if possible. Premier AV will be able to handle your furniture requests and presentations. Speakers and panelists are asked to report to the Keynote stage area at least 20 minutes prior to his or her presentation.
