What are show hours for handicapped individuals?

Early access to the show is available for handicapped individuals beginning at 8:00 a.m. each public show day by entering the Hall C entrance only.

Are wheelchairs and motorized scooters available for rent at the NAIAS?

Wheelchairs and motorized scooters are available for those needing them at Cobo Center on a first come, first serve basis. Please visit the Cobo Center information desk in the main concourse/lobby to rent wheelchairs and motorized scooters. Motorized scooters are $35 per four (4) hour period; wheelchairs are available at no charge. Valid driver's license and signed rental agreement required with each reservation. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and cash payments accepted.

Where is there handicapped parking available at Cobo Center?

The Washington Boulevard garage, the Cobo Roof Deck and the Cobo Center Congress Street garage provide a number of parking spaces reserved for handicapped parking for a fee on a first come first, serve basis. The reserved handicapped spots are conveniently located near elevators.

Are personal motorized scooters or wheelchairs allowed into the NAIAS?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own motorized scooter or wheelchair to the NAIAS.

Who do I contact for handicap assistance in the parking lot?

Each parking lot has a security guard that can provide assistance.

Are service animals permitted at the NAIAS?

Yes, service animals are permitted in the NAIAS.

Are there handicap-accessible restroom facilities and elevator access at Cobo Center?

Yes, there are handicap accessible restrooms for guests at Cobo Center. Maps are available at the information desk and at all ticket booths.
Elevators are accessible for use at the show. The elevators operate during the entirety of the NAIAS.

Where are food services available with handicap accessibility?

The food court with handicapped accessibility is located in the south east corner of Cobo Center. There are also handicapped accessible vending machines located throughout Cobo Center.

Can guests with handicap disabilities be dropped off near the entrance of the Cobo Center?

Yes, handicapped individuals can be dropped off at the front door on Washington Boulevard or at the Atwater Street entrance. Signage will be visible for your convenience to identify drop-off locations.

Are there wheelchair designated areas for major events / announcements?

Yes, designated areas will be provided for those needing assistance and will be roped off.

Are there days during the public show that are designated as sensory free?

Yes, Sunday, January, 28, 2018 will be sensory free (or extremely limited) from 8:00 AM until 11:00AM.

Are there designated areas available for breast feeding?

Yes, two breast feeding pods will be available at Cobo Center. ID will be required to use the pods.
